The Citrus Singers Chorus is comprised of talented Girl Scouts who love to sing! The girls are from various troops and different counties in Citrus Council. The focus of the chorus program is to instill confidence through performance. The singers are under the direction of professional singer, Susie Reale, where they receive valuable training and performance opportunities. In the fall they prepare holiday shows and in the spring they entertain at various festivals and community events. The Citrus Singers have enjoyed some fame by starring in music parody videos which have been viewed around the world in over 80 countries! Locally, they are honored to be called upon to perform the National Anthem at prestigious events such as the Cure Bowl at the Exploria Stadium. If you have a girl who loves to sing, this is an outstanding opportunity for them to grow musically and in confidence.
To join, girls need to audition. Girls in the group range from experienced performers to first time singers. They must be able to sing in pitch, commit to the rehearsal and performance schedule and have an enthusiasm to perform.
