On this Journey with City of Orlando Water Reclamation Division, girls will explore the wonders of water by discovering the importance of water and how it is used around the world.

The first half of the program will focus on:

  • Where does water go?
  • Flora and Fauna of Florida
  • The Ocean and the Coral Reef

The second half of the program will focus on:

  • Water Cycle at Home
  • Water Cycle in us
  • Action to Clean Water

Girls will complete all the steps of their journey in this program including a group take action project.

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday July 8th 2026
  • Time: 3:30pm-6pm
  • Program Grade Level: Brownies
  • Location: Water Reclamation Education Center
  • Program Fee: Free
  • Registration Deadline: Sunday June 28th at 11:59pm or when program is full


Important Information:

  • All participants must be registered for the event this includes all girls and adult chaperones
  • Please adhere to the adult/girl ratio when attending events. This can be found in Volunteer Essentials or Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website.
  • Everyone must wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes and should bring a refillable water bottle
  • No walk-ups or Tagalongs are permitted.

Cancellation and Refunds:

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to CustomerCare@citrus-gs.org by June 28th at 11:59pm.
  • There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.

Confirmation:

A confirmation with final details will be emailed to you after registration closes. This confirmation will include the location address and information regarding day of program. Please look over this confirmation and familiarize yourself with the process on the day you receive it.
