Celebrate the start of Spring and fresh spring produce with Girl Scouts of Citrus and the Kitchen House. This interactive program will spark creativity, build confidence in the kitchen, and connect our Girl Scout chefs to fresh ingredients in exciting ways. Whether they're mixing, measuring, or tasting something delicious, this experience is designed to inspire a lifelong love of learning and healthy eating.
Program Activities Include:
- Tour of The Kitchen House Garden
- Lesson in The Kitchen House Garden
- Harvesting time in The Kitchen House Garden
- Hands on cooking of a lite bite
- Time to share lite bite with Girl Scout sisters
Juniors will complete all steps of their Simple Meals badge. Cadettes will complete all steps of their New Cuisines badge. Badges are not included in the cost of the program. However, they are available for purchase in the Council Shop in Downtown Orlando.

Important Information:
- Everyone must be registered for the event (adults and girls).
- Please adhere to the adult/girl ratio. Adults must be present for girls to attend.
- Adult space is limited. Please try to register as a troop and not exceed number of adults needed to maintain ratio.
- Girls cannot be dropped off.
- No walk-ups are permitted.
Cancellations and Refunds:
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to customercare@citrus-gs.org by 11:59pm on April 26th 2026.
- There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.
