Embark on a guided geocaching adventure at Wekiwa Springs State Park! Girls will learn about geocaching, GPS receivers, and trackables. Girls should make a trade item and bring it with them to the event. Girls will explore the state park and find a geocache together while being guided by park staff. Girls will then have the opportunity to put out their own cache with the park ranger. Girls will also pick a name for the new cache. The cache will become visible for others to find on the Geocache.com website. Juniors will earn their Geocacher badge by participating in this program. The badge is included in the program cost and will be distributed during the program.
In addition to the program fee, there is a fee to enter Wekiwa Springs State Park. You will need to make a park reservation for April 25th for all participants. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. The fee for the park entry reservations is $6 per vehicle (limit of 8 people per vehicle, $2 per person for additional vehicle passengers).

Important Information:
- All participants must be registered for the event, including girls and adult chaperones
- Please adhere to girl/adult ratio when attending events. This can be found in Volunteer Essentials or Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website.
- Everyone must wear closed-toed shoes and should bring a refillable water bottle.
- Participants must bring a cellular device. Prior to attending the program, please download the Geocaching app (made by the developer Groundspeak Inc.) and make a free account. You will use your device and this app as you search for a geocache.
- Girls should make a trade item prior to the event and bring it with them.
- In addition to the program fee, there is a fee to enter Wekiwa Springs State Park. All participants must make a reservation for April 25th, 2026, at Wekiwa Springs State Park in order to be granted entry into the park. The fee for the park entry reservations is $6 per vehicle (limit of 8 people per vehicle, $2 per person for additional vehicle passengers).
Cancellation and Refunds:
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to customercare@citrus-gs.org by April 12th, 2026, at 11:59pm.
- There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.
- No refunds will be given for failure to make a park reservation.
