Date: Sat May 23, 10:00 AM EDT - Sat May 23, 12:00 PM EDT
Join educators at the Lyonia Environmental Center to explore the
world of bugs and why they're so important to our environment! During
an indoor classroom workshop, girls will observe bug specimens under
the microscope and try some "bug eyes" for size. Then you
will embark on a guided hike through the preserve where you will see
these amazing creatures in action. Afterwards, girls will make a bug
craft to take home. This program completes all steps for girls to earn
their Brownie Bugs Badge. The badge is not included in the program
cost and may be purchased from the Citrus Shop.
Please note: program fees will be collected at check-in.
