Don't you love to feel the warm sun on your face? The sweet smell of flowers? How about the sounds of birds singing? Nature provides us with many gifts. Connect with nature as we go on a hike through Lyonia Preserve and discuss how to care for the environment, respect wildlife and leave no trash behind. We'll also look closely to see how different things in nature create homes for one another. After the hike, we'll return to the classroom and create a piece of art that will help improve an outdoor space. Daisies will earn their Eco Learner Badge. Brownies will learn their Eco Friend Badge.
The badges are not included in the program cost and may be purchased from the Citrus Shop.
