Calling all Girl Scouts, friends, and family! If theres one thing thats important to all Girl Scouts its safety. Learning how to be safe is a vital skill that will help you throughout your whole life. We are excited to join our friends at Keiser University for a fun and educational (and safe!) day of learning and earning your First Aid badge!  

 

Girl Scouts will work with Keiser Universitys team of educators to learn all about being safe while completing steps to earn their safety badge. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Safety Award pin. Girl Scout Brownies through Ambassadors will earn their First Aid badge. All Girl Scouts will also receive an exclusive First Aid Fair fun patch!

 

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday, July 17th, 2024
  • Time: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
    • Check-in: 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Program Level: All registered Girl Scouts and Adults
  • Location: Keiser University Orlando Campus
    • Parking available onsite
  • Program Fee: $4/girl, $2/adults

Girl Program Fee Includes: Program, badge, and fun patch.

Adult Program Fee Includes: Program and patch

  • Registration Deadline: July 9th, 2024

Important Information:

  • Tagalongs are welcome but all attendees must have a paid registration. Non-GS friends & family can register as adults to avoid the badge fee. 
  • All participants must be registered for the event this includes all girls and adult chaperones
  • Please adhere to the adult/girl ratio when attending events. This can be found in Volunteer Essentials or Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website.
  • Everyone must wear close-toed shoes and should bring a refillable water bottle

COVID Health and Safety Guidelines:

  • For all indoor events and large gatherings, masks are optional per GSUSAs current COVID guidelines.
  • When participating in outdoor events and activities there are no restrictions.
  • Follow all basic health and safety guidelines recommended by the CDC for handwashing and sanitizing.
  • If you or anyone in your group is not feeling well, please refrain from attending the event/activity.
  • As a reminder, some community partner programs have site specific guidelines that must be followed to participate in their programs. Please review their websites for details.

Please Note: Each troop/family should weigh their participation based on their own as well as their family members health concerns. As with any social activity, participation in Girl Scouts could present the risk of contracting COVID-19. While Girl Scouts of Citrus takes every safety and preventative precaution, Girl Scouts of Citrus can in no way warrant or be held responsible that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in Girl Scout activities.

Please keep in mind that these guidelines can change at any time, and we will communicate any updates as they are released.

Cancellation and Refunds:

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to CustomerCare@citrus-gs.org by the cancellation date specified.
  • There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.

Confirmation:

A confirmation with final details will be emailed to you on the day after registration closes date. This confirmation will include the location address and information regarding day of program as well as any updated Covid-19 Guidelines. Please look over this confirmation and familiarize yourself with the process on the day you receive it.
