Join expert instructors from Ethos Bushcraft & Survival for an engaging, hands-on workshop covering six essential survival skills: shelter building, signaling for rescue, navigation, water filtration, fire building, and food procurement. You will begin by constructing a simple shelter and crafting cordage from saw palmetto leaves. Discover effective signaling techniques for rescue situations and master the fundamentals of navigation in the wild. Explore water filtration and purification by building your own filter using a plastic bottle, charcoal, grass, and sand. Gain practical experience with fire building, and learn how to identify and obtain food in a survival scenario.

- Program Fee: $75 for girls, $75 for adults

Important Information:
- All participants must be registered for the event, including girls and adult chaperones
- Please adhere to girl/adult ratio when attending events. This can be found in Volunteer Essentials or Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website.
- Closed-toed shoes and refillable water bottles are required for this program.
- Sunscreen, hats, and/or hair back with bandana are encouraged.
- Troop leaders should have first aid on hand.
Cancellation and Refunds:
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to customercare@citrus-gs.org by August 30th 2026 at 11:59pm.
- There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.
