Get ready to ride the waves! Join your fellow Girl Scouts for an exciting introductory surf clinic. Prior surfing experience is not required and all equipment is provided. Participants must be proficient and confident ocean swimmers, as life vests are not permitted. After picking up your gear, we'll take a short walk to the beach. The clinic begins with a safety briefing and a hands-on lesson on how to properly "pop up" on your board. The rest of your session will be spent practicing your new skills and catching waves in the ocean.
In the event of storm systems, hurricanes, or large waves (over 5 feet), the backup clinic date will be Saturday, September 26th.
