Calling all Troop Leaders, Parents/Guardians, Girls and Friends! Come to Camp Mah-Kah-Wee and spend the day exploring everything that Girl Scouts of Citrus has to offer at our Girl Scout New Year Party! Do you have a friend who wants to join us? Bring them along and get ready for a day full of fun!

- Fun and Adventurous Outdoor Camp Activities
- Girl Scout and Community Partner Expo, including some exciting brand new partners
- Badge Activities for all levels
- SWAP Opportunities
We are excited to announce that the SECOND-EVER Citrus Council Orange Drop will officially ring in the New Year!
Event Details:
- Date: September 26th, 2026
- Time: 9am-1pm
- Program Level: All registered Girl Scouts, adults, and non-members
- All youth participants must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone who is attending must be registered for this event.
- Location: Mah-Kah-Wee Program Center
- Program Fees: $10 for girls, $5 for adults
- Girl Program Fee Includes: Program, patch, and Swag Bag
- Adult Program Fee Includes: Program
- Registration Deadline: September 20th, 2026, at 11:59pm or when program is full
Important Information:
- Lunch will not be provided but we'd love you to bring food and join us for a picnic.
- All participants must be registered for the event, including girls and adult chaperones
- Please adhere to the adult/girl ratio when attending event. This can be found in Volunteer Essentials or Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website.
- Everyone must wear closed-toed shoes and should bring a refillable water bottle.
Cancellation and Refunds:
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to customercare@citrus-gs.org by September 20th, 2026, at 11:59pm.
- There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.
Confirmation:
- A confirmation email with final details will be sent to you before the event. Please look over this confirmation and familiarize yourself with the process on the day you receive it.
