Join us in celebrating Girl Scouts Love State Parks at beautiful Blue Spring State Park! The "Flood & Fire" program invites Girl Scouts and their families to explore the wonders of nature through four engaging, hands-on stations. Participants will learn all about manatees and the importance of prescribed fires for local ecosystems. Each station will be led by park rangers and educators. We highly encourage carpooling to help reduce admission costs and maximize reservation availability.
In addition to the program fee, a separate entry fee is required for Blue Spring State Park. Please make a reservation for September 12th for all participants as soon as possible, as the park is likely to reach capacity quickly. The entry fee is $6 per vehicle (up to 8 people per vehicle), with an additional $2 for each extra passenger. A Girl Scouts Love State Parks Patch is included in the program cost.

Important Information:
- All participants must be registered for this event, including all girls and adult chaperones.
- Please adhere to the adult/girl ratio when attending events. This can be found in Volunteer Essentials or Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website.
- Closed toes shoes and refillable water bottles are required for this program.
- Sunscreen, hats, and/or hair back with bandana are encouraged.
Cancellation and Refunds:
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to customercare@citrus-gs.org by August 30th, 2026 at 11:59pm.
- There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.
