New Leader Boot Camp is a fun, hands-on opportunity designed to help new Girl Scout leaders feel confident and prepared for their first year. Join us on October 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM at St. Luke's UMC for a day of practical tips, helpful information, and conversations with experienced leaders. We'll cover everything from planning and running troop meetings, working with co-leaders and families, troop finances, communication, field trips and camping, safety requirements, and Girl Scout traditions. You'll also have time to ask questions, hear real first-year experiences, and connect with other new leaders.
CPR/First Aid training will also be offered starting at 12pm for a cost of $35 (cash or check) paid at the event. Bring a lunch, snacks, and a drink, and come ready to learn, share, and build your confidence as you begin your Girl Scout leadership journey!
