Green Works is making a difference in the City of Orlando and wants to help show you the ways you can get involved in creating environmental change! This program is all about what you can do in your personal life, throughout your community, and as a career to promote positive environmental changes.
The program will have five parts:
- Meet and Great with Green Works
- Tour McQuigg Farm and Community Garden
- A Friend to Pollinators - Discover different pollinators and how we can support them
- Being an Environmental Leader - How to become a leader in sustainability

Program Level: Currently
registered Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors - no tagalongs.
Adult Supervision: Proper adult to girl ratio must be followed for this event.
Registration Deadline: Sunday June 1st
2025 by 11:59 pm or when the program is full.
Girl Fee
Includes: Program and exclusive Green Works fun patch.
Important Information:
- All participants must be registered for the event this includes all girls and adult chaperones
- Please adhere to the adult/girl ratio when attending events. This can be found in Volunteer Essentials or Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website.
- Everyone must wear close-toed shoes and should bring a refillable water bottle
- No walk-ups or Tagalongs are permitted.
- Please park at Callahan Neighborhood Center which is located across the street from the garden. A staff member will meet you onsite to walk over to McQuigg Farm and Community Garden.
- Please arrive by 8:50am.
- A minimum of 10 girls is required to run this program.
Cancellation and Refunds
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and sent directly to CustomerCare@citrus-gs.org by June 1st 2025 at 11:59pm.
- There will be no refunds or transfers for no-shows.
Confirmation
A confirmation with final details will be emailed to you. This
confirmation will include the location address and information
regarding day of. Please look over this confirmation and familiarize
yourself with the process on the day you receive it.
