Eustis Scout House is located in Lake County and is a great facility for meetings and small events.
The Eustis Scout House is available year round for troop camping and various day activities, meetings and events by reservation. Troops can request troop camping 6 months out to the date.
The Eustis Scout House observes the same holiday hours and schedule as the Council Service Center.
The maximum capacity is 30 people for day use; the maximum capacity for overnight use is 10 people. Cots are mattresses are not provided; air mattresses are recommended. Tent camping is not permitted.
The quaint one room house is air conditioned and has tables and chairs. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, sink, limited counter space and cooking equipment. There is one bathroom and one shower available. Mops, brooms, toilet paper and garbage bags are provided. Troops must bring cleaning supplies for kitchen, bathroom and floors.
The Eustis Scout House sits adjacent to Sunset Park in Eustis. The park has covered picnic tables, playground, basketball court and plenty of green space for activities
Bertha the Bear: This is one of the many Environmental patches that can be earned by visiting GSC properties. Girls will learn about Bears and other animals that are native to Lake County as well as other activities. A digital copy of the manual will be sent 2 weeks prior to arrival. Instructions and supplies for all the activities are provided on location. Each session runs approximately 3 hours.
Compass Course: (Coming Soon) Learn the basics of orienteering when you participate in our compass course. Have fun learning compass games and other skills. Each session runs approximately 3 hours.
