World Thinking Day - Education Opens Doors

Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, Ambassador, Adult
Program Description:

World Thinking Day is a time to honor our Girl Scout and Girl Guide sisters from our global community. Each year, a Global Action Theme is selected based on the United Nation's Millennium Development  Goals.

The 2014 theme focuses on Education: girls worldwide say "education opens doors for all girls and boys."  Come and spend the day doing fun activities, learning about other cultures and helping those who are less fortunate.

This year, WAGGGS has selected the following countries and regions to focus on: Egypt (Arab), Benin (Africa), Bangladesh (Asia/Pacific), Armenia (Europe) and St. Vincent and Grenadines (Western Hemisphere).

Come and help make a difference and explore what the world has in store for you! This event is open to girls currently in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Fee includes: activities, tasty samples, a light lunch, and the 2014 World Thinking Day Award!
Please adhere to Safety Activity Checkpoints for proper girl/adult ratio. This will allow for maximum girl participation at the event.
