  • Abrakadoodle Art Room | ,

    Abrakadoodle is the most comprehensive art program of its kind in the nation, offering classes in painting, drawing, sculpting, designing mosaics, digital design and more.  Our programs not only ignite a child's imagination, but they also build art knowledge, artistic techniques, fine motor skills, language, cognitive skills and confidence.


    Abrakadoodle’s experienced curriculum team of educators and artists have developed age-appropriate lessons that include the elements of art while introducing students to master and contemporary artists and art forms from around the world.


    Let us help you earn your artist badges.  We offer programs through Girl Scouts of Citrus at various times and locations throughout the year; however we can schedule private classes, workshops or events at the location of your choosing or at the Abrakadoodle Art Room in East Orlando.  Whether we come to you or you come to us, we provide the aprons, class supplies and art materials necessary for each participant to create his or her own work of art.​

    Super Awesome Cool Pottery your one stop shop for creative Badge workshops taught by experienced teaching artists.  Offering private badge classes for troops for (Badges include Pottery, Painting, Jewelry, Textiles, Collage, and Drawing).  Yes we travel to your or come to our studio.  Call 407-452-2452 to discuss your customized workshop for your troop.  Our studio offers Canvas Painting, Pottery Painting, and clay sculpture

  • Elite Academy Animation | ,

    Cadettes! Earn the Comic Artist Badge with Elite Academy Animation every Saturday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM! The two hour workshop will provide all the supplies to create your own comic strip that fulfills the requirements of the Comic Artist Badge. Badge is included. 

  • Healthy 100 Kids Patch | ,
    Girl Scouts of all ages are eligible to earn the new “Healthy 100 Kids” patch created in partnership with Florida Hospital for Children. Girls need to complete 7 out of the 14 activities. There is no minimum per section – just a total of 7 activities. The patch is $2.00.

    Checks can be made out to Florida Hospital for Children and should note “Healthy 100 Kids” in the memo field. Checks can be mailed to the attention of Laura Grubbs, Florida Hospital, 2520 North Orange Ave, Suite 200, Orlando, FL 32804.​

  • Dinosaur World | ,

    ​Guide yourself through walkways and explore a land filled by over 150 life size model dinosaurs. Go on a guided dig for fossils to take home, see a unique dinosaur movie in the caves exhibit, unearth a life size dinosaur skeleton in the Bone Yard, walk thru the Skeleton Garden, see the Prehistoric Museum, enter the Carnivore Boardwalk if you dare, cross into Deinonychus Island, and learn all that you can about these animals from long ago. 

    As you take this trip through time, complete requirements for several badges (see Girl Scout Activities-FL under Education and Group Information, at for more information).

    Cost is $8 per person plus tax for groups of 12 or more with advance reservations.

    Note: If you do not have 12 girls you will be charged the regular admission prices of $11.95 plus tax for children ages 3-12, $14.95 plus tax  for adults. Children under 3 are free and parking is free. There are no food services in the park, so please bring a lunch to be enjoyed at one of the shaded picnic areas. Soft drink vending machines are available.

  • Girl Scouts Visit Sea World Orlando | ,

    A minimum of 14 day advanced purchase is required. Call for reservation. A minimum of 15 paid youth admissions is required. For every 10 youth tickets purchased, 1 chaperone comp will be provided. Total number of youth must exceed total number of adult chaperones in the group.

  • History Center Self-Guided Tours | ,

    ​Come visit the History Center in Orlando and discover Central Florida’s past. 

    Cost: $4 per Scout, $5 per adult (free admission ages 4 and under).

    Scouts must wear identifying attire. History Center patch available for $2 each.
