The history of Girl Scouting includes being girl-led a volunteer-supported. Our busy volunteers make time to come together, celebrate, learn, and always improve their leadership practices to provide the best possible experience for girls.
These annual events are part of the Girl Scout tradition at Citrus Council, but also take a look at the Citrus Program Calendar

Annual Business Meeting. In attendance
are; Association Delegates/Alternates,
Board of Directors and Board Development Committee members, nominees for the
Board, board Development Committee and National Delegates. In order to conduct business, a quorum must

appropriate. Recognizing efforts with a
formal award is a tangible way to acknowledge unique and outstanding

The Alumnae Reunion Weekend is for adults
that have been a Girl Scout previously, former staff members or a currently a
registered adult that would you like to recapture the fun, the memories from
earlier years and have new Girl
Scout experiences? Then join us to renew past friendships and
make new ones while enjoying workshops, camp activities, singing around the
campfire and s’mores. During the weekend we will also take time to do some
service projects around camp.
Volunteer Retreat Weekend
Volunteer Retreat Weekend is a weekend of fun, fellowship, learning new skills
and making new friends. You will have
the opportunity to enjoy fabulous seminars and workshops while also getting the
chance to network with volunteers from all over.
Any volunteer with Girl Scouts is welcome to
attend this annual event which is held at our beautiful 250 acres camp ground
called Mah-Kah-Wee Program Center located in Chuluota. The date for this event is April 4 - 6,
2014. Save the date on your calendar now

Service Team Conference
wouldn’t happen if it weren’t for dedicated volunteers. Some volunteers
chose to take on administrative roles in their service area. Those
volunteers are called the service unit team members. The Service Team
Conference is where service unit team members received their position training
and/or attend other enrichment workshops. This conference is an annual
event scheduled for the first Saturday in August. Registration
information will be posted once it is available.
A 4ME Enrichment Event is for any volunteer with Girl
Scouts to enjoy a day of fellowship, fun, learning new skills and making new
friends. Workshops vary from SWAPs to Ductogomy and Holiday Extravaganza
to Tye Dye T-shirts. These events are held in various locations
throughout the council’s jurisdiction. Registration information is posted
once it is available.
