Cadette's Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting

The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting is a badge and handbook in one great binder for girls. It includes badges and handbook sections covering traditions and history, Cookie Badges, awards log, accessory pages, and more.

The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting will work with national leadership journeys to add skill-building to the leadership skills girls learn through the three keys of Discover, Connect, and Take Action.

Journeys are the only program resources that cover all 15 outcomes. Badges build specific skills and are primarily aimed at the Discover “Girls develop a strong sense of self" outcome. National leadership journeys and The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting make up the National Program Portfolio.

All the earned awards for Girl Scout Cadette’s are designed to expose girls to new hobbies, skills, and fun activities while learning more about themselves (Discover), forming new friendships (Connect), and helping make their world a better place (Take Action).

Cadette Journeys

  • MEdia

Cadettes look for the ME in media and learn how they can shape media - for themselves, their community and the world. MEdia helps girls think about who is responsible for telling the stories they see and how to help "re-make" these forms of media.

  • Breathe

Cadettes engage all five senses as they clear the air—their own and Earth's. Girls learn to assess air quality inside and out, getting an aerial view of everything from cigarette smoking to noise in the air to deforestation.

  • aMAZE: The Twists and Turns of Getting Along

aMAZE: The Twists and Turns of Getting Along

Life is a maze of relationships and this journey has Girl Scout Cadettes maneuvering through all its twists and turns to find true friendships, plenty of confidence, and maybe even peace.
