On behalf of all of us in the Program Department at Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, we welcome you to another exciting fall filled with unforgettable experiences for girls! Whether you are new to Girl Scouting or a returning Girl Scout, we hope this program calendar will help you discover exciting opportunities to learn, create moments full of laughter, and find paths where you can lead.

For the latest and greatest additions, changes, and availability check out our website, www.citrus-gs-org. Girls, check out this site and explore the many options available to you!  New programs are added all the time, so check in often!

The Program Department is making great strides to offer program opportunities to build girls of Courage, Confidence and Character. We look for resources in our organization, in our community and of course in our most valuable resource, the girls, to help us provide the best program experiences possible. We use the Girl Driven approach to make sure that what we offer is 100% girl driven and girl approved! We at Girl Scouts of Citrus Council are committed to providing program opportunities that center on the needs, desires, aspirations, challenges, interest, beliefs, and dreams of a girl.

Programs are listed by month. These listings for Program Events are from September 2011 through December 2011.  This includes both Council Sponsored Programs (programs produced by Girl Scouts of Citrus Council staff and volunteers) and Community Partner Programs (programs created in partnership with community organizations and the GSCC Program Team).

All programs are listed with the following information:

  • Title and Description
  • Grade Level Info:
    • D – Daisy
    • B – Brownie
    • J – Junior
    • C – Cadette
    • S – Senior
    • A – Ambassador

NOTE: Some programs are designed specifically for girls of certain ages or grade levels. (Example ages 11-17)

  • Date, Time and Location (County or City; street addresses are provided with confirmations)
  • Other: Includes important extra information.
  • Girl and Adult Min: Max: Includes the minimum number of girl and adult participants needed for an event to happen, as well as the maximum capacity.  Please register only the number of adults needed to meet Safety-Wise requirements to allow more room for girls.
