She’s a Scientist is a series of inspirational workshops with hands-on experiences featuring female guest speakers from the fields of science, technology, engineering and/or math- STEM. At the Turtle Academy, girls will learn all about turtles, their habitat and experience hands-on activities related to sea turtles. Girls will walk to the beach to look for possible turtle nests and find out if this is a field they enjoy working. She’s a Scientist is a series of inspirational workshops with hands-on experiences featuring female guest speakers from the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Math- STEM. At C.S.I. girls will meet the Crime Scene Investigation & Forensic Unit team from Osceola County Sheriff’s office. Learn about their path to their careers and share in their daily experiences including DNA, blood spatter, fingerprinting and much more.
