Girl Scout FAQs
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
Science, Math, Engineering and Technology Girl Scouts introduces girls of every age to science, technology, engineering, and math activities that are relevant to everyday life and career planning. Through programs such as Junior Aerospace Badge Workshop or Space Adventure Day in partnership with NASA and Kennedy Space Center’s Exploration Station, educational activities focused on science and math are provided.
The STEM Team is comprised of Girl Scouts grades 7 and above, mentors, leaders or interested adults who attend training at KSC’s Exploration Station to focus on hands-on learning activities they can deliver to younger girls. The STEM Team is an integral part of the success of STEM at Citrus Council as they provide fun, educational opportunities in troop, service unit and community settings. You too should consider becoming a member of this dynamic team of science educators. Sign up for the next STEM training.
